Probably the best fight to make at 135 at this moment

Very tough fight to predict.. but my preliminary pick would be JMM by close decision

I think i'll go with Guzman by SD..just based off being the younger and faster man.

I think Joan is a bad fight for anyone at 135 and I would give him the benefit of the doubt to beat anyone at 135 but until hes proven at 135 I gotta lean towards Marquez just because hes been exellent at lightweight.

**** Guzman he never did **** and is overhyped has hell. He beated Soto yea but Marquez is an elite fighter and soto is only a good fighter and is not on the level of guys like Diaz, Casamayor, Pac. Marquez will give Guzman angles and combinations he never seen before, he will figure him out in the 3rd round and win every rounds onward. Guzman wont look good against a fine technician like Marquez. He looks good against sluggers like Barrios and Soto but its a huge step up and Guzman is not ready for it....

Thats something i don't like about this forum. Fighters that never beated any elite fighter gets favored over the pound for pound best just because they look untouchable against limited opposition (like Linares and Guzman). Theres a huge step between being a good fighter who wins a title and being in the p4p top 10.

I like Guzman. But, this is one fight he will not win. Marquez can adapt to any style. He would be a nightmare for Guzman. Ask Chris John.

I like both fighters quite a bit. I can see Guzman outspeeding Marquez, but I can also see Marquez breaking Guzman down in the later rounds. But Guzman has a hell of a beard and is very sneaky...It would be a tough fight to score unless Guzman just ran the whole time, but I have always thought this would be a very close fight. Im leaning towards a Guzman SD but can totally see a Marquez decision. Neither man gets knocked out.

    Guzman is lazy and overrated.
