3rd thread of the day involving guzman-pacquiao. and i repeat that if pacquiao wants to earn more money, he should not fight guzman which will be another ugly fight for him. better fight juan diaz instead.

Guzman as a slick counter puncher has a serious style advantage over Pac and his greater speed and timing, not to mention durability to take the occassional Pacquaio bomb would be a horrible combination for Pac to fight.

I'd take him by a wide UD, 117-111.

i mean, pacquiao could win via decision but this will not be as exciting match as casual fans wants it to be. this will look worse than pacquiao-barrera rematch in terms of pacquiao's fight standards.

i don't mind a boxing match. but it would surely hurt pacquiao's reputation.

How would it hurt his reputation if the opponent was to blame for making it boring?

I've yet to see a boring Guzman fight by the way, the Soto-Guzman fight was very entertaining I thought.

Fighting the best thats what its all aout. not the money or what your fans want. if you fight the best the money will always be there.

It was painfull to watch especially the last 4 rounds. disgracefull to boxing.

Also watch the Guzman vs Joe Morales fight.

    BOREFEST.

PBF is way more entertaining and thats saying something.

pacquiao-barrera rematch. barrera was running but fans here thought that pacquiao have sub-par performance because he didn't ko barrera.

to me this is one of pacquiao's better fight because he showcased that he can box. but for casual boxing fans, it was boring.

I agree, Pac is going to make millions no matter who he fights. Guzman for example just had a showcase on HBO, he's certainly not an unknown. Pac would make the same amount fighting Guzman as he would JMM, most likely.

Either way, JMM and Guzman are the #2 and #3 in the division, so hopefully Pac fights one of them, preferably both, as that would be fighting the best.

I feel JMM deserves a shot before he retires at Pacman first.

Guzman got time were JMM need that much waited rematch.

    Power: Goes to Pacquiao
    Speed: Goes to Guzman
    Ring Generalship: Goes to Pacquiao
    Experience:Goes to Pacquiao
    Defense: Goes to Guzman
    Chin:Tied
    Stamina: Goes to Pacquiao

Pacquiao seems to have more tangibles but you never know whats gonna happen in boxing.

If Pac tries to box, he might lose. But if he shows up ready to rumble, like his natural self, I can see a late TKO win for Pac.

Pac will lose against any boxer in his prime who has a good chin and skills. Pac can't outbox his opponents in their prime. Pac has to do what he has been doing, and that is to punch hard his opponents and knock them down or out, if he can't do that then he will lose the fight.

If Pac try to box against JMM or Guzman he will lose the fight. Period.
