Guzman easily defeated Humberto Soto, who is probably the best 130 pounder in the world now. Yes, he failed to make weight against Campbell and that ultimately tarnished his reputation, however, he is still one of the most skilled and purest boxers out there. If they were to fight at 130 or 135, then Guzman would be a very live underdog.
b4 the Hatton fight, i favored Guzman's chances......Guzman's still a live underdog as said above, but i couldn't put my money on him, i'll take Pac UD
Soto has owhere near the speed, output or killer instinct to lay unto Guzman. I was very dissapointed in how long it took for him to finish Gaudet, a guy who had 0 punching power and would get hurt from every punch Soto landed. Pac has the footspeed. if anything Pac will outbox Guzman using range and if Guzman gets pretty, I dont think he's slick enough to dodge 10 punches in a row from the fastest hands in boxing.
this is an easy easy fight for Pacquiao. Guzman's technical skills are overrated and so is his defense. Good thing his chin is solid. Against Pac he still gets knocked out. Shot, didn't beat anybody is the tune after this fight.
no body ever doubt pacman or i will **** you up. pacman beats every1 as long as the weigh the same. hence P4P #1
I've always considered Guzman overrated. With his minimal punching power, no amount of slickness and defensive genius would prevent Pac from walking through everything Guzzy throws and KO him.
at the end of the day, Guzman would rather protect his "O" than fight a real threat. What's sad is he was given a title shot after the Campbell debacle in Biloxi.
power puff puncher guzman would have hell against pacman. Pac is just as fast and is much stronger. Guzman should stay away from pac cuz he will only get a beating. There's so much option at 135 for guzman. Juan Diaz-J. diaz-D.Diaz-katsidis-casamayor and valero.
