Now he's with GBP - he'll get the big fights, no doubt. The guy is a bit special and very, very talented.

But who do you think has his number at lightweight? Who beats him?

He would be a very difficult match up for anyone at LW as he is very slick and hard to hit.

I'd love to see him against Valero though.

TBH I can't see anyone beating him at LW.

If he brings his A-game he's practically unbeatable at that weight, at the moment.

I like Valero, but I think Guzman would school him.

He's getting old, highly inactive, and he blows up in weight in between fights... sorry, but I don't see a very bright future for this guy. He's blown his chance to do something great in this sport IMO, and he's highly overrated to begin with... and I don't use the term overrated very often.

I agree, Guzman would probably box circles around him. But it would be interesting if Valero could tag him. I really want to see his power tested against a top fighter.

Probably the wrong fighter to choose in that respect.

Guzman has a granite chin. Remember how he just sat on the ropes and let Soto throw the kitchen sink at him? Even when Soto landed, you didn't see it register on Guzman at all. Poker faced *******.

NB: But as JR says there is the age, inactivity and weight issues to think about. Who knows what kinda Guzman will come back, and how will that Guzman progress.
