What would be the reaction if Calzaghe TKO'd oldman early?

Hopkins starts so god awfully slow.

 

I bet Ricky Hatton and his fans really appreciated Joes comment, "im no ricky Hatton", in reference to Hattons loss to Mayweather.

 

Joe was silly to get rattled; he should have asked Bhops to name great European fighters that HE fought in his career...

 

Joe is not an intelligent guy, he's of average intelligence at best.

 

I didn't know you and Joe are BFF's! Does he take his agression out on you since he doesn't do it against the guy he's supposed to be fighting?

Hopkins is louder, but he is also in Joe's head. Joe doesn't know how to handle this b/c the only other time he had a semi press conference/ fight tour was against...:huh ohh, hasn't been done on this level huh? Sheltered maybe?

Hopkins maybe acting like a fool, but look at what happened in a similar situation a la PBF v Hatton. Hatton was all quite, putting on ear plugs etc... Then PBF commenced to tagging that ass.

Who knows if Calz will lose? Who knows if BHop will lose? All I'm saying is that Joe hasn't been in the bright American lights before, lets just hope he doesn't get stage fright.:good

The biggest names on Hopkins record our Taylor and Jones Jnr and he lost to them. His biggest wins were agaisnt Blown up Welters in De La Hoya, Trinidad and Wright, and a guy coming down from H/W in Tarver. His only win over a top guy that should have been at M/W was Glen Johnson!

Calzaghe beat Eubank, Lacy, Kessler all top fighters, Knocked out Veit in Germany and beat Brewer who legitamatley should have been World Champ after beating Ottke.

Guys like Woodhall, Reid and Mitchell were as good as the guys Hopkins faced like Eastman, Allen and others.

Indeed. He said recently he had never even heard of Kessler before he heard Calzaghe beat him. And in saying so, he would prove how out of depth he is on this one...:yep
