Any thoughts on this fantasy fight? The sad thing is this classic should have been made but Brown's handlers steered clear of Perkins who was the quintessential high risk-no reward proposition. I don't honestly know much about Brown but I love to learn more as he seems like a fascinating character in and out of the ring. Perkins is a legend and thankfully a recent inductee to the IBHOF. Russell Peltz compared Perkins to a lightweight Harold Johnson and that's spot on the money. Could this legend have beaten 'Old Bones'?
I believe perkins would have nipped Old Bones much like Carlos Ortiz eventually did. perkins has got my total respect as a fighter. he was as crafty as they came, and I like Brown too.
