When People write Brown UD with no comments is odd. I mean Johnny Dundee is a GREAT fighter, so was Brown. It could relly go either way imo. The problem here is the lack of film on Dundee who rule the 20's. I never saw footage of Dundee. But he can box, move, and had decent power. Also being able to beat the likes of Rocky Kansas, George Chaney, and Joe Rviers is noting to stiff about. Whats mostly forgoting about Dundee is he fought the great Benny Leonard over 5 times, and sure most or ALL of them may be ND's, but I dont recall Benny ever getting a "Win" so to speak over Dundee.
Lets not forget that MOST of Dundee's fights are ND's. Only like what 30 losses in nearly 200 bouts. Thats not bad.
Hopefully I get a hold of Dundee's fight with Eugene Criqui one of these days and get a better understanding of his style. One thing is for sure though, when it comes to resume, Dundee leaves Brown for dead.
I think it's likely that Dundee beats Brown. I've found Brown to be one of the more lucky champions in history.
