    No upset here. Bugner was primarily a tough, durable guy with a very good defense and superb legs (he could run). The prime Bugner might have gone the distance with Tyson, but no more than that.

    I'm thinking Bugner survives a few scares early on, but is unable to mount enough offense to really worry Tyson and Bugner gets taken out in the mid to late rounds

    I agree that Bugner couldn't mount enough of an offense to worry Tyson. But Bugner's defensive skills and capacity to surive were very exceptional. I think he could have held, ran, and covered up sufficiently to get into the very late rounds, or even last the distance.
