Well, sort of...I'm sure most people remember the hit comedy Animal House from the 1970's. However, how many remember the movie spawned a short lived TV series called Delta House? I was looking through these old episodes recently and saw this one where Joe turns up. Skip to 20:08 for his appearance. Quite a physique he's sporting. This content is protected
I remember when Delta House came out — I think all three networks had their version of ‘frat house comedy’ debuting that season because of Animal House and this one was expected to be the winner because of the actual tie-in to the movie. I remembered that they got Flounder but hadn’t recalled Hoover or D-Day (who has gone on to have a really fine acting career for a guy who either didn’t or barely talked in Animal House) or Dean Wormer (great character and great name) being on board. But truth is the audience wanted Belushi and the rest was window dressing. They cast Zero Mostel’s son, who I think did have/has had a good stage in theater, in that role and that was a mistake. Should have tried to have a similar character but not cast someone as Bluto if they weren’t going to have Belushi to play it. (I also had no idea that Joe Bugner of all people did a guest appearance, haha.)
Had a different idea in my head when I clicked this thread, If JB did get into it with a girl and hands started flying she’d only need to worry about losing the decision I wasn’t overly concerned for her safety.
