    True but Whyte can still get very careless at times.

    Providing a prime Bugner is in an "Up for it" state of mind,I would back him against most Brit heavies with the exception of the VERY best such as Lennox Lewis and Tyson Fury.

    Bugner for me. Joe could box and fight and was tough as old boots. I think it’s a close fight but Joe pulls away for a points win.

    The Bugner who held his own with Joe Frazier in 1973 would absolutely box the ears off Whyte.

    Bugner gets a bit overrated sometimes. I've been guilty of it in the past. But he's at least a level above Whyte's level.
