Probably Bobick, Bugner would try to peck and poke his way to a decision and be too defensive. Bobick by ud decision.

Joe Bugner has became a superhero on boxing 24 -(more like superheroine!) WORLD CLASS ASS??!! Someone chimed in he would push Bobick around? Wow, are we talking Joe Bugner who moved to Australia from Britain? Who seems to have 1 top ten win in Henry Cooper's last fight, a dubious decision at best! Well i've heard Bomber Bug only bombed and pushed around his first wife.

If you ever rooted for Bugner he would **** you off with his lack of aggression, And much worse his lack of a wallop! Especially for his immense size!
They both beat about the same caliber of opponents. the Bayonne Bleeder Chuck Wepner, Larry Middleton (OH SCRATCH THAT!)
Okay Bobick turned into a mauler, he would maul Bugner too!
People have no respect for Bobick, for he got bombed by Norton, Knoetze and Tate, all three would also bomb they now immortal Joe Bugner!

    That's not true.

Bugner beat Jimmy Ellis, Greg Page, Henry Cooper, Mac Foster, Brian London, David Bey, Quick Tillis, Jose Garcia, Richard Dunn ...

And what you're missing (or purposely ignoring) is when Bugner fought the very best - like Muhammad Ali twice, Joe Frazier, Ron Lyle, etc. - he lost close fights. After their rematch, Ali said Bugner would be the champ when retired. The top guys respected Bugner.

Bugner wasn't as good as the very best, but he wasn't that far off.

Bobick wouldn't even get to the big fight. He'd get blown out in a round or so TWO FIGHtS before he got to the big one.

I NOW THINK MAYBE WE ARE IGNORING WORLD CLASS HEAVYWEIGHTS JACK BODELL, LARRY MIDDLETON, SHAVERS OF COURSE, AND RON LYLE HAD TO WIN 11 OF 12 ROUNDS TO GET A 6-5-1 DECISION VICTORY, BUGS BABY ACTUALLY JUST HAD ONE BIG ROUND - A TWO POINTER MAYBE! LYLE WAS ALMOST ROBBED , AGRESSIVE EVERY ROUND , HAD BUGNER CLINCHING AGAINST THE ROPES.

BUGNER ACTUALLY LIKED TO DIED AT THE HOSPITAL, WHILE HIS MANAGER PARTIED AT McCARREN AIRPORT

In the second Ali-Bugner fight, the referee Takeo Ugo scored it 73-67.

In the five-point must system, that translates to 8 Rounds (Ali), 2 Rounds (Bugner), 5 Rounds (Even)

Ali ONLY winning 8 of 15 rounds was keeping it close in those days. That's about how close the ref in the Ali-Young fight had it.

How'd Bobick do against Ali? Oh yeah, he couldn't last 55 seconds against Norton to get to an Ali fight.

Bugner was clearly better than Bobick. He proved it by performing better against better fighters and by beating better fighters than Bobick did.

PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME HE WAS A PUNCHER! THIS WOULD HAVE GAVE A GUY LIKE DUANE BOBICK ENORMOUS CONFIDENCE. NEITHER ONE SHOULD HAVE BEEN RANKED ABOVE A YOUNG, LYLE OR SHAVERS WITHOUT DEFEATING ONE! YET THEY WERE TIME AND TIME AGAIN.

AND AS JUST ABOUT EVERY POST ON BOXING 24 -WE WILL NEVER KNOW!

THATS THE BIGGEST LAUGH I'VE EVER HEARD? SO ALI HAD TO WIN 15 ROUNDS TO GET AN 8-2-5 DECISION!
AND BOBICK LASTED 58 SECONDS WITH NORTON, NOT YOUR INCREDIBLE 55 SECONDS STATEMENT! (LOL)

AND ALI SAID HE WOULD NEVER FIGHT DUANE BOBICK IN 1977, FOUGHT FROG LIKE EVANGELISTA INSTEAD. -ANOTHER GREAT !
