    Holy ****.

That must of been the Bizarro world version of Bugner in there.

Also, looks like he got the memo that the straight right is kryponite to southpaws.

Good stuff, thanks for the video tommygun.

Also, this was the leanest that Bugner would ever be for the remainder of his career, post Ali. Guess he was pretty motivated huh.

When Bugner gets mad.. He's got a KILLER right hand. Trust me. Ali's lucky his taunts didn't get to Bugner or he would have to show him his deadly left hook :lol:
    Just kidding.

I remember a Bugner bout where some pecker head headbutts him and 15 seconds later Bugner one shots him into unconsciousness.

I like Bugner but he really had no real power and did not put his body behind a punch...He was a big durable guy for the most part but DUNN, I think he lost 10 of his 11 losses by KO...Glass Jaw Dunn,

The story here was that Bugner had made derogatory comments about Richard Dunn's challenge to Ali saying he shouldn't have been in there, not in the same class as himself blahblah. It sort of backfired because the public took Dunn's side. They felt that although outclassed Dunn had at least taken the fight to Ali whereas Joe, never really popular after taking the titles from Cooper and then the lacklustre affair in Kuala Lumpur wasn't in a position to talk.
This set the stage, Joe felt he had to prove a point and he did.

no, not kidding at all. he's a helluva fighter when he's mad. I guess when he's mellow and uninteristed then he doesn't really have the motivation to throw it. someone needs to pump him up before he starts chauking it around in the dunn fight.
certainly ali's taunts wouldve gotten to him, but I guess he was just not interested in that fight.

I do n't think that Muhammad's taunts bothered Bugner. Joe took it as banter for their fights. He and Ali had a very good relationship, from what I can gather.

Good lord Dunn was awful. Watch and you can see that every time Dunn jabs he turns into it and leaving himself not only WIDE open for straight rights but squared up as well so his balance would be bad if he got hit. Squared up like that he also cant get any power into a cross so each time he jabs hes basically asking to get hit without being able to return anything. Pretty pathetic performance. That being said it was a good job by Bugner spotting the openings, although after the first to KDs he started to smother his punches. He could have actually gotten him out of there quicker if he had kept his distance a bit more.
