    Both are retired Undefeated Super Middle weights, both competed & held belts in the same era. So there is no excuse for this fight to happen at any time. As both legacies are questioned & they need this final note to make their case.

    Joe Calazaghe: 46-0
    22 WBO title defenses (NEVER UNDISPUTED)
    Best 3 Wins
    * 38-0 Mikkel Kissler
    * 48-4 Bernard Hopkins
    * 52-4 Roy Jones

    Sven Ottke: 34-0
    22 IBF title defenses (NEVER UNDISPUTED)
    Best 3 wins
    * 10-0 Anthony Mundine
    * 30-2 Ali Ennebati
    * 32-2 James Crawford

    Joe has better names, but Roy was done & Bernard fight was close vs an old guy who lost twice to Taylor. Mikkel Kessler is his best no doubt.

    Sven greatest win came vs Anthony Mundine, a young exhausted Mundine. Other than that lots of his fights were too close :yep

    Sven Ottke vs Joe Calazaghe (Winner gets a case for #1 SMW ATG)

    Andre Ward is still active at SMW so they still need this fight to cement their legacy...That could be otherwise pushed behind Andre Ward future achievements in SMW

    If this was the case, why didn't Joe jump in the IBF ratings to get rid of Sven Ottke, they were in there for a long time :huh

  5. You say Calzaghe never was never undisputed but that was only down to politics, he did actually win all the titles at one point. WBO, WBC, WBA, and the IBF. Can't dispute that kid.
