well , froch is highly regarded and went life and death with kessler, joe beat him comfortably

Hopkins beat Pavlick, pascal and cloud after losing to joe

joe beat sakio easier than ward

    these can tell you something

Pretty sure Calzaghe more than had his chance to fight both Dawson and Froch.

Pretty much this. Shame, I would've made good money betting on Joe and the points if that one went down.

if dawson would have fought lacy, kessler, old hopkins (he did) and old jones, he'd probably would have retired undefeated as well. joe may have beat dawson but he stayed away from southpaws so we really don't have a scale to judge him on.

I think Joe would beat him clearly also.

    Calzaghe would only agree to face someone like Dawson;

    1) Very early in Dawson'e career. I.E. Lacy
    2) Very late in Dawson's career. I.E. Hopkins

Unless he had a part time job as a dishwasher or cab driver, Calzaghe throughout his entire career, never wished to face a prime fighter.

Frazier beat Ali, Foreman beat Frazier and lost to Ali. Whats your point? Styles make fights.

Not to mention that Calzaghe was a seasoned pro going in to the Bika fight also nobody knew who Bika was at the time. Ward fought Bika when Ward was still young.

I say you need your eyes checked.

Bob Foster was special...Archie Moore was special

There was nothing special about The Welsh Rabbit.:deal
If he wanted some of Dawson all he had to do was grow a pair and man up.

Joe had his hands full with a shot to hell Charles Brewer..:yep

Joe would probably out work the inactive Dawson to a UD....

Joe has the advantage in speed, skill, and work rate....

Dawson doesn't throw enough punches and does not have the power to hurt Joe...

    Bad matchup for Bad Chad

    Skill??

Joe slapped with his punches and leaned straight back....plus his speed should be called 'slap velocity'...

Your definition of skill is as shi.tty as Joe's resume and punch technique.

    A shi.tty fighter across the board.:deal

Years from now when people hear how great Joe was they will look at his fights and say that guy was a joke.

Joe had his hands full with a shot Charles Brewer.
Dawson would have whipped his sorry as.s across all 4 corners of the ring.
