slap boxing and fighting are distinctively different. One is an actual sport.

My god I wish there was footage here of the video that I am talking about so you guys can see what I am talking about. There was no resistance from the bag because he wasn't hitting it. There wasn't very little force on the punches. The was none whatsoever. Did you see Calzage Hopkins 24/7? I am not taling about the light punches that guys do to build stamina or mit work or eventhe kind of punches that people do on a speed bag. I am literally talking about literally moving your hands back and forth about an inch with absolutly 0 force.

We do punchout drills all the time at the gym, granted I don't have his speed but at least I throw real punches instead of taps. It's easy for a reasonably trained person.

Try doing it and see if you can actually keep pace after about 10 seconds. It's harder than it looks. But no, they're not punches.

I don't have a heavy bag but I did it against the wall about 5 minutes ago. Had absolutlyno trouble keeping pace. I would probably start to feel tired after about 3 minutes and start to slow down. I am not a proffesional boxer. I don't doubt that 90% of professional boxers can do this.

Again I am not knocking Joe what he has accomplished in his career is impressive and I am sure that he could KTFO with a slap and do a shitload of things that I can not do but this is not one of them.

That is impressive more so because of the speed than because of the stamina required. I am sure that most reasonably trained boxers could do something similar.

Just did this **** in my kitchen against the firdge using the timer from the microwave. It's impossible to say how many punches I threw because well I can't count that fast but I had absolutly no problem whatsoever maintaining pace for 2 minutes.

Forward it to the end at 6 mins, and about 10 seconds
    go to 6:09

Thats real punching speed, (not slapping speed)

What calzaghe is doing is a stamina training exercise, i do it for 30 seconds at the end of each 3 minute round on the bag. Although generally i would lift my knees up down at the same time. He was probably just showing off there. They aren't intended to be full punches, like i said, it's a stamina exercise
