Pretty accurate description, I hope Slappy Joe thanked Warren in that interview for protecting him his whole career. I doubt he would though, instead he sued the poor ****, despite Warren being the only barrier between Slappy and some horrible losses around 2000-2001.

Slappy Joe is a complete ****, and no mistake.

I used to be a Calzaghe fan. But,he claimed in his autobiography that Jones was finished.Read it.It's there 2 read.Black and white print.Unless he didn't write his official autobiography. Then when the fight is signed,he goes around insisting that Jones is still great. This is the absolute truth. You know it.All of you.Fact.Joe's a liar 2 make himself look good. It's that simple.Deny it and you're a liar yourself. This is the reason that Joe will never get the respect that he feels he deserves.Because he's a liar. And nobody will ever know what the truth is about his motivation to fight any top fighter in their prime.Because he is a documented liar.

That's right, Joe waited until Hopkins and Jones were past it to get their names on his resume. He's so absorbed in his undefeated record, he doesn't care if he beats up old legends like Jones; his record will still be spotless in his eyes. No doubt he would have lost if he had taken them on around 2002-2003.

Yes, Joe waited - despite Bernard pulling out of a 2001 fight against Joe Calzaghe and Roy Jones Jr saying he wanted nothing to do with Calzaghe because of the risk at the time.

Any idiot who thinks Calzaghe has a poor resume simply has no ****ing clue about the 90s and early 00s boxing scene. Funnily enough, "He waited til the end to fight the challenges"

Hopkins was still good enough to obliterate Kelly Pavlik, the great hype from America yet he couldn't work Joe out. Joe not only beat RJJ, he humiliated him worse than RJJ ever humiliated anyone else

Then you look at Lacy and Kessler - also apparently supposed to beat Joe easily.

He held every belt in his division, reigned for a decade, had over 20 title defenses and never got beat. Go **** yourself if you can't respect that.

So which of Calzaghe's lies have you chosen to believe?

The one where he said in his bio that Jones was past it, or the one when he signed to fight Jones and claimed he was still great? :think

haha. you guys make me laugh.
He also said that he would fight 2 more times after Kessler and they would be money fights. (heard it from the man himself)
He didnt care who against just who payed the most.
And guess what thats exactly what he did.
He didnt give a **** if Jones was past it he just wanted the dollar.
He was hardly going to tell everyone that it was going to be one sided.
Who the **** is going to watch that.
    Hate him all you like.
The guy was a good fighter and a worthy champion.
Is it his fault that Jones and Hopkins were old.
They payed the most and that is what he wanted.
He beat everyone at 168 and would beat all of the current crop as well.
He took the money and ran. and can you blame him.

The biggest bit of hypocrisy too - Joe wasn't exactly ****ing young either, he was past his 36th birthday when fighting both Jones Jr and Hopkins, this, after having faced a number of the younger gun fighters in his division in his previous fight history

Kessler, Lacy and Bika - then Hopkins and Jones Jr to finish off his career in his last 6 fights? Just proved at 36, he could still dominate competition.

Yet people want to give him ****, originally about Hopkins AND Jones Jr - then when Hopkins obliterated Pavlik "Oh.. uhhm.. ah"

Well considering that he was STARCHED by Tarver and Johnson,2 fighters that really don't compare resume-wise with Jones, you tell me.I don't know.Obviously one statement or the other from Joe is a lie.And you know it.And Roy always,ALWAYS insisted he wouldn't travel abroad after being robbed in the '88 Olympics.Forget about him ducking Joe.What bollocks.
