Joe Calzaghe, among top 25 Super Middleweight in boxing history?!

    Top 25? Of Course!!!!!! Remember, this isn't the oldest division. Some say he is the greatest Super Middleweight of all time. Even if he isn't the greatest, he has to rank right up there with them. Right off the top of my head, I would place him just behind Roy Jones, Jr.

    I have a hard time thinking of guys who were actually great at 168...Calzaghe easily makes the number 1 or 2 spot in the division.

    Eubank
    Benn
    Watson
    Collins
    Jones
    McClellan
    Toney

    Heck I can't even fill a top 10 haha.

    Based on all factors, Joe Calzaghe is the best SMW ever. Resume, skills, longevity, blah blah combined he's the best

    Roy Jones is the best H2H but he didn't accomplish nearly enough there to be at the top

    People seem to be bitching about SMW's history here, but look at its future, you got a half a dozen brilliant fighters who could all be future HOFers if they don't seriously fall off. Welter may be the best division now, but SMW is the most promising for the future.

    I don't care who you fight,it only takes one lucky punch,one "off night",a momentary lapse in concentration to get beaten.It never happened.

    No 1 at Super Middleweight.....no doubt

    I am not talking light heavy, or middle here. Even though I don't remember Joe Calzaghe fighting a guy who was a mailman full time or a police officer.
