Will you spare me your melodrama please? You're the most arrogant person on here which you hide behind your "Scotsman, heart on my sleeve, say it as I see it" soliloquies.

Every one of your posts is a giant "look at me" where you feel your opinion should be taken without questioning. You also seem to feel you should be paid some kind of homage because of how long you've been here.

Look at your avatar "WATCH OUT HERE I COME" and "IM BACK, & THATS IT", talk about self aggrandising. Most topics you post on degenerate into a personal debate about you. How many times have you threatened to leave the forum? You always make a big thing out of telling everyone, obviously hoping we'll beg you to stay.

You take things too personally mate, my post was just a throw away observation that you've chosen to take as a personal attack. My thoughts on Calzaghe are well known here but this thread, I felt, was just for kicks.

No doubt I'll recieve a torrant of Dunky-style abuse but it's cool, I don't take this place as seriously as you.

The trouble is mate, you're always on red alert for the mere smidgen of patronisation. It wasn't patronising, it was a throw away comment, with a playful wink at the end, that could've been laughed off. To call our minor exchange an argument is stretching the definition a little bit wouldn't you say, Dunky? For a belligerent jock such as yourself and a condescending southerner like me, it barely classifies as a crossed word!

No, I really wouldn't have got wound up by it Dunky. I would've either ignored it with the contempt it, arguably, deserved or just laughed it off. Sorry mate, gonna have to call you on your arrogance again here. To think I'd place some kind of significance on putting someone I've never met before "in his place" on a forum shows you certainly hold yourself in high regard.

And I wont talk about Joe Calzaghe no more. I know it was done to death, if the truth be told. However, I was being honest when I say I had just watched THAT video with him and his daddy telling us all how we missed him, & the red mist came down.
I was always willing to cut Joe slack, but my god when I seen Joe finger gesturing that he was undefeated in that small clip? I lost so much respect in an instant that I had to get my hate off my chest. & sadly enough, this fun thread became victim to my rage...

Sorry if I hijacked a fun thread, & I mean that. Im not normally that po-faced. Normally though, fighters dont retire leaving questions over their resume like Joe did, then bring out a song with their own father gloating about how great they are!
The only way Joe can save face is if he admits that video was done to put his childhood bullies firmly in their place, thats the only way I could forgive his antics.
Deep down though, that vid was meant for all of us, & not those teenage taffs who made Joes life hell as a young man. I just know it was.
