Good fighter. Didn't care much for his style, but he still had some entertaining fights.

Lacy was a whopping favorite of about -130

Dawson lacked Joes mental approach and management, whatever superior skills he had in the ring, without these he wasn't going to be around long.

some guy who said 'I don't want tough fights'. cant remember his name, cant be significant.

Ok so you have a handful of people being nice and paying respects. What does that prove?

They only hate if you're great :deal

I'm not a fan of Calzaghe but I acknowledge 46-0 is an incredible accomplishment in this sport at championship level, regardless if someone thinks he has a weak resume. Anything can go wrong in a fight and Calzaghe retired with his O intact.

Calzaghe gets no credit for beating titlists like: Eubank, Reid, Woodhall, Mitchell, Brewer, Bika

So why does Froch get so much credit for wins over Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham, Johnson?

The guys Froch beat were not better, if anything they probably weren't even as good, Calzaghe beat his opponents more convincingly so why does he get no credit but Froch recieves all of this "warrior" praise.

out of them five I would give joe credit for eventually facing bika, who is quite good, though its a shame the experience made him run from the ibf title so quickly. and partial credit for eubank, because although eubank was finished and uninterested in winning he was still a tough cookie and didn't like giving up once in the ring.

Mitchell and brewer, some of joes better wins, but still the weaker options in terms of defences.

but reid was a draw pretty much, so credit due when it could have gone either way. not really. all it proved is that joe was on equal terms with a guy like robin.

and woodhall was definitely finished, no credit for that.

Toney would have got exactly the same as Froch against Joe = beat.
