Did you expect something else from slappy joe fans? If Roy had done well they would be on here claiming he is still in his prime, and ridiculing those of us who knew jones is shot to ****.
Yah, if only Joe would have beaten young fighters on his way to being the best and most dominant SMW of all time, I wonder what that would have looked like? This content is protected This content is protected Idiots.
lots of posters on esb had all bases covered before the fight , so calzaghe could only go down in estimation no matter what he done. he got put down by a forearm smash that geniunly hurt him in the first , so that is used to his detriment and he won the other 11 rounds on judges cards, well that is what he was supposed to do is the arguement. as i said before hand. no win fight for calzaghe , except moneywise of course where he got very well paid.
i think if you look under boxing fundamentals in the dictionary, power and speed will both be mentioned numerous times, anyways congrulations to both joe and roy, nothing but best wishes for you both.
This is pretty rich coming from someone who picked Roy to win. (Piced Pavlik to beat BHop too. You're good !) Were you an idiot when you picked Roy ? http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=3920 Or are you an idiot now ? Can't have it both way, Mr. Hater.
Yep, Joe basically did what most expected him to do in this fight. Good job he did, but this version of Roy isn't so difficult to beat, for a great fighter like Calzaghe.
I dont (I think) disagree with what you are trying to say, but "documenting" it with pictures like this. Kessler lying on the canvas just after delivering a hard shot. Joe winning by KO slippage:rofl
Dude your acting like a three year old who just got told to go to bed. Ive just lost all respect for you. You've expossed yourself as a childish, petulant idiot who cant take the reality of the situation and is making as much noise as possible coz you dont like the outcome. Grow up.
lol rico spadafora....you know what man, your right....when i think about it when jones fought ruiz he was on 15-20 over 175lbs...and his next fight was 8-9 months after that.....it doesnt take almost a year to lost 15lbs of weight the excuses are pathetic....thats what 2-3 lbs a month... p.s. if any 1 says calzaghe slaps, i emplore you to rewatch the knock down!!
