It's you who constantly puts links on here claiming that Joe chased Roy.

Why would the best fighter in the world who fought at 175, want to fight a 168 guy who wasn't well known on the world stage, when he'd left that weight class in 1996?

Joe could have won a title at 175, and he could have impressed, made more money, and could possibly have had a big money fight against Roy.

It's called ambition. He didn't want to take the risk.

He couldn't hold on to his 168 title and fight Roy. It was one or the other.

He either had to drop the belt and move up, or stay at 168 and forget Roy.

His ambition didn't match his skills.

Calzaghe was a great and very unique boxer. The Jeff Lacy - fight proved his class. It reigns among the best champion-performances ever. Beating Hopkins seems a better performance today considering Hopkin´s still a force at 48.

It makes me insecure though, that looking closer in bailey's amazing Danny Green research, that there were a lot of prime fighters beating up on fighters that probably should not have still been fighting.

If all those form lines were prime fighters, Danny Green would seriously have claim, but since they were not, we can only imagine how the Prime Green Machine would do against Liston, Tyson, and Ali.

If you have a problem with Calzaghe then that's, litterally, your problem, but, seriously, trying to say no one is bitter about Calzaghe and his career and then ranting about how bad he was and how **** European and British boxing history must because others rate him and you dont, completely undermines that statement and make you look hypocritical.

Kessler was having his 40th fight when he faced Calzaghe and was having his 6th world title fight, was a unified champ, beaten 2 other then current SMW champs and 3 still world rated former SMW champs, one of which became a SMW champ after

Going in Calzaghe was having his 22nd world title fight and Kessler his 6th.

Incorrect. Froch had worked hisway up to become Joe's number1 mandatory challenger for his WBC belt. Joe vacated instead and Froch fought and won it against Pascal.

If most his opponents weren't champs or top 10 ranked when he fought then, which they weren't, then Joe doesn't get credit for somebody eles's work.
