Not exactly come lately. Been on the forums since 2006.

Dumbasses like you take in the media hype about Bhops and accept he is some sort of superman, all because you are incapable of watching his fights and coming to a decision yourself. Others like you think he is good because he has been to prison as apparently that is a pre requisite for being classed as an ATG.

Fact is he is boring and I would rather eat pickled toe nails than watch one of his boring fights. He has never been the best (p4p) at any time of his career despite the media and nuthuggers like you claiming he was.

You carry on believing the hype and I will let reality govern my views about him and his fighting style.

JC is going to school him then you and the rest of you hopkins bum lickers are going to make excuses such as Bhops was old.

I bet if RJJ fought him again tommorow he would beat him easily.

Funny especially since it's coming from a Calzaghe nuthugger. Whose best wins are over an overrated Lacy and Kessler. Hopkins' resume shits all over Joes period.:deal
Fighting style has nothing to do with Hopkins being great or not. Hell many people find PBF and Sweet Pea's styles boring but it doesn't detract from their greatness.

Maybe not, but I love this line from the Calslappy fans that their guy is really exciting to watch :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

They've obviously only been watching the last 2 or 3 fights because I remember him as being boring and predictable as **** for years before he stepped up the comp. He has very poor technique, hence the 'slap' arguments that always crop up. If Hopkins were 35 instead of 43 this wouldn't even be a contest, I've maintained all along that the only reason this fight is even remotely interesting is because of Bernards age and that remains true because skills-wise there's a massive gulf between these two fighters.

    Then why fight him?

Why not fight some disabled people and women while he's at it?

Bernard Hopkins is from Philly and has been toa federal prison - I highly doubt a southpaw slapper from Wales is making him loose any sleep...

Calzaghe's open to right hand leads - His defence for that is not good and against southpaws that is Hopkins best punch.

I think Calzaghe should and will win a points decision in this fight: BUT!

    A) Hopkins will use every trick in his expansive book of tricks to take Calzaghe out of his game and stilt his usual high output style - I don't think it will be as effective as it was against Tarver or Wright - Also southpaws - But it will make the fight ugly. If Joe is talking now like he is - He'd better make it a 120-108 or stop Hopkins cause anything else is going to make him look stupid.

    B) I will never bet money against Bernard Hopkins. He's one of the most relaxed and thinking fighters I've ever seen in a ring at that level - He will adjust and at the very least give Calzaghe a tough night...

If Joe is thinking anything else - Then it's to his detriment. Don't understimate the Executioner...
