:nut Please name Hopkins big wins. RJJ beat him, Taylor (not even a big name) beat him. Yes he beat the likes of Eastman, Joppy and co but they were not great fighters.

Fighting style has everything to do with greatness, otherwise Markus Beyer and Ottke would be touted as p4p ATG HOF material.

B-hop has a deity-like status with some on here. I just can't see why. Ok, he has a fine defence but he does and has always bored the **** out of me. I ain't even gonna go on about him being the dirtiest fighter around.

 

Come on man, you saw the vid. Calzaghe couldnt even say ****. Even before the racist remarks. Calzaghe was saying he beat Kessler and B-Hop was like "Kessler?!? Who the **** is Kessler, he aint even on my league!" And Calzaghe Quickly points out his losses to Jermain Taylor and Hopkins was like "You believe I lost both fights?!?" and Calzaghe said it might be 50-50 and B-Hop responded "So now your the promoter??!" to everyone's delight" He sounded like a little kid who was intimidated by all the talking done by b-hop.

 

I don't see what the fuss is all about when people harp on about how Hopkins intimidated Calzaghe. Do you honestly believe that it will make the slightest bit of difference when they get in the ring.......no, me neither.

 

Aye, B-Hop sounded ever so good. Had I been a 13 yr old boy, I doubtless would have been impressed.

 

At last someone who can see the light. Too many bhops nuthuggers on here who's sole reason for thinking he is an ATG is that he has been to prison.

Yes he is boring and about time people accepted this. Bhops is like one of thosethird rate actors who only ever appear in dodgy commercials whereas JC is like a A list actor. Wide gulf in class and style.
