If Joe Calzaghe makes a comeback who does he fight and who would posters want him to fight ?, for me if he did comeback {there has been rumors in the press since he attended a Golden Boy Promotions news conference to promote the Mayweather v Moseley fight}, I guess he would fight Bernard Hopkins again, I would like him to fight Carl Froch in a huge domestic Wales v England clash, both unbeaten World champions putting their unbeaten records on the line, I doubt they would be able to make it happen unfortunately because of the super six tournement.

PS, Even after being retired for the best part of two years at an advanced age I would still take Calzaghe to comeback and beat old Hopkins and also to beat a prime Froch, the longer an aging Calzaghe stays retired enjoing the good life there will come a time where he wont be able to comeback and win, but due to his ring craft and huge determination I can see him winning if he comes back sooner rather than later.

Please stop contemplating his return, because it's not happening. Joe is past the point where he would be able to salvage his underacheivements. He's a coke addict that reads magazines whilst blasting fellow Brit fighters, and seems content in doing so.

 just because he has taken coke doesn't mean he is an addict I also would like to see him take on Dawson, or Cloud but it isnt going to happen. If he DID come back I'd imagine he'd pick up a belt or two but not take too much of a risk.

He didn't blast anyone which you would know if you read the article.

    It was sensationalistic journalism.

Much like if I read your post and then made a headline that said.......

'Transgender ludite savages hall of famer!!!'

Dawson would be a great, tough fight. With the layoff, I'd likely favor Dawson in that one.

Cloud would get shredded unless Joe came back completely shot to ****.

No point in him coming back. He thrives on his undefeated record and it's the main thing that constitutes his legacy (because the resume isn't ATG-material), so I can't see him risking that, especially considering the fact that RJJ and Hopkins both had him down early in the fights and someone younger, fresher, and more active would have gone for the finish.

I'd like him to fight George Foreman for the highly regarded Lean Mean Fat reducing Grilling Machine. If that fight can't be made, I would like him to stay retired and enjoy his endless stash of beak.
