The rumor is, he's coming back..

Daniel Craig has one more outing left on his contract.

    After that, watch for Joe.

He should fight Johnson (if he moves to 175) or (if he stays at 168) Bute or someone that placed in the top 3 of the SMW tourney.

The "obvious" fight, though, would be a Hopkins rematch. It fits Calzaghe's MO.

Fighting Bute might be where the $ is, but I do think Dawson is the top dawg anywhere from 168-175 and maybe even 200 if he wanted to. Calzaghes best win was over a Hopkins that clearly won the first half of the fight and Joe won the second. After the way Hopkins looked after Jones, Calzaghe might be convinced to give Hopkins a rematch since Hopkins did look like a 45yr old and it would be easy money for Joe. The fight most people would want is Dawson-Calzaghe.

He's NOT coming back to boxing.

Dawson would have been a tough fight when Calzaghe left.

With the extra years, and the coke and the inactivity, Dawson would be a serious stretch.

If he comes back he has to make big $$$$$ so it will have to be bute or froch. Dawson is not a draw.

Most people if they could select a match up for a fighter would have chosen to see him fight 1 single fighter with talent that was still in their prime - just to see it - sort of like seeing a dragon or a unicorn if you're a Calz fan apparently .. but to each their own ...

In today's news, inadvertent irony as Pavlik fan makes fun of another boxer's substance abuse problems.

    More at 11.
