Are you getting angry that Lucy Bute hasn't got a shot at Britains second best SMW yet?

Joe has bigger fish to fry, he's going to school the legend Hopkins and then awaits the winner of Pavlik/Taylor

    Pavlik then

I'm not angry...I just see it clear !! Bigger fish to fry or less dangerous one's Bute would TKO Kessler tomorrow...wait and see...

    And good luck to him...

I'd have to say I fancy Kessler, based on the fact I know very little about Lucy Bute, and Kessler is actually very good

Unfortunately, in boxing you actually have to prove you deserve a shot at a p4p fighter. Being potentially dangerous doesn't really cut it, because there is very little to gain for the well known guy. In this case, Joe

 Course he would. Why are you hugging Bute so much?

It's never wise to hug a prospect, because chances are you end up looking a twat when they step up in class

You should keep a low profile, and crawl out of the woodwork when he actually does something

I'm his brother...) No, I just think he is a very good fighter and Ihope he will get a chance to fight Calzaghe that is also a very good champion.

Unfortunately he won't, because there is just nothing in the fight for Joe and he will only have 2 more

Most people consider Kessler to have been Joe's challenger to the throne at SMW, so there is nothing left for him. A win against Bute would neither enhance his legacy, or earn big bucks. Whether he's a better fighter than Hopkins (and he probably is at this stage) is irrelevant

He will have to build his own profile, and there are plenty of fights out there at SMW, it's a very underrated division

Dont worry, JC will beat Hopkins but Hopkins is going to put his clumsy ass on his ass once or twice and these same diluted cronies will say it was a slip or something. Like all of the other right hands that dropped him.

Anyways TFFP, your Christmas picture is not right because the IBF belt does not belong to Joe Calzaghe...

I wouldn't fret, he'll be relinquishing all those beauties soon enough

There will a day of mourning in Newbridge, and a possible minutes silence across Wales

    Sad day :-(

Roy Jones and a non weight drained James Toney would beat him. Calzaghe's a very good fighter but he struggled with Robin Reid and Bika.

In his prime? Are you now saying he is off his prime?

. . . then this guy should retire. :yep

I do actually think Joe is slightly past his physical peak, I've seen him sharper than in the Kessler fight. But then I factor in that Kessler was a better opponent. But he still wasn't quite at his best I feel

However, a slightly past it Joe Calzaghe beats everybody at 160-175 comfortably
