I didn't conveniently avoid anything. It's not my style. I have already on numerous occasions said that Hopkins priced himself out against Calzaghe years ago, just as he did against Jones prior to that. I specifically said "With Jones" in my post because of this. I have also said on that Calzaghe will beat Hopkins if they fight IMO. (Prime for prime is another matter....I don't believe in Hopkins prime, I don't think he had one).

I am American, but I am not who you think I am. Please don't assume that I am avoiding a subject or will defend a specific fighter based on this.

Mundine would get slaughtered even now against Calzaghe.

    Could have yes.

    Would have, no.

Calzaghe is a great fighter, but the chances he would've beaten a prime jones are very very slim. Closer to 0 than 50

    I know what you mean

Many of them have a punchers chance. Say like 2%

If Joe fought them one after another and we added all their punchers chances together it is conceivable Joe Calzaghe could lose a boxing match

Law of averages and all that

If Calzaghe and Ali fought at 168 I'd pick Ali.

People tend to think Calzaghe would of handled Eubank in his prime. I find that quite funny because if Calzaghe fought the Eubank that sent Watson into permanent injury he probably would of koed Calzaghe with that same uppercut. Eubank before the Watson tradegy was merciless, the fact that Watson was ahead on the scorecards before he was koed just proved how great a fighter Watson was. I doubt Calzaghe can go to war with a guy like Eubank.
