True, Jones was much more well known, as they said in a interview about a month ago, Jones said "If you want to beat the man, you have to come to me". And at the time when Jones was better than Calzaghe or more well known it probably seemed right. Jones wont accept a rematch over in Wales now though.

This is ****ing stupid. Stop with the sour grapes.

Why the **** should his fans feel pathetic? Because he just dominated a legend inside the ring? If Jones was so far out of his leagues, then why the **** did he even bother taking the fight?

The only people that should feel pathetic are the posters who were on here actually predicting an RJJ win.

Fans like myself? Hang on mate, I always expected Calzaghe to win at this stage in BOTH fighters careers. I realise that Jones was far removed from his best and I think you will find that no reasonable fan of either fighter is claiming that Joe beat a 26 year old Jones. I appreciate this fight for what it is, but scroll through the forum and you will see a tirade of biterness unfairly directed toward Calzaghe. So no, I don't feel pathetic - I feel pretty darn good.

    Get your facts right Jack.

Calzaghe tried to fight Bhop and Jones about 8 years back and they would have none of it.

I wonder why that was. LOL

Jones was out classed it would have been the same a few years back as well.

That's not true though, is it? Jones has been saying since before the fight that he wanted a fight in the US and then a rematch in Wales for the fans.

    Don't just make things up.
