That's GOLD! Two Britians (One English, the other Welsh) fighting... Usually on here they stick together.

I can remember a little under a week ago when Calzaghe's camp had already made an offer to Woods camp... So this whole ducking thing is back and forth. Hopkins is letting Calzaghe know that he has a back-up fight (that would probably be a mega-fight, as disappointing as that is, if/when Roy Jones stops Tito) and Calzaghe was reminding Hopkins that his promoter/manager is Frank Warren and he's willing to stay in his backyard and fight a guy like Clinton Woods.

in the end, I think they both want each other. The thing with Hopkins, is that he's in a WIN-WIN situation. At 42, nearly 43, Hopkins has an excuse. No matter what. The closer he can make a fight, the more he can argue that in his prime, he woulda won. And if he DOES win, well then...
