Calzaghe is just a freaking *****. He is qouted saying if he lost his last fight he would never forgive himself,, what does that show? It shows that he doubts he could win. The ATG's would never say something like that, ever... He is just overprotected and wants to keep his 0 opposed to really trying to prove his greatness, which he knows deep down is a fraud... ANd enough with this Mikkel Kessler ****, did you see his last fight? Or even the Calzaghe fight? He fights like a frightened school girl against boxers who punch like my grandma... Kessler has the Tools just not the mind or heart... Pavlik would crush him, just like he would do to Calzaghe.
dont worry he wont retire undefeated so guess he will fight again. All the calzaghe fans RJ will make sure your worste nightmare doesnt happen. Calzaghe will fight again:yep
Joe Calzaghe claims Pavlik turned him down twice : "We actually tried to get Pavlik after the Lacy fight and he declined " We asked him again after he won the middle weight title and he declined again .Its so funny people came knocking on your door when you decide to fight someone else "
As I said before, it shows Joe wanted Pavlik when he thought he wasn't ready yet, that is after Lacy. Pavlik could not take the fight after the first Taylor fight and he knew it. Then he had to do a mandatory. He took the fight after his schedule was cleared. Joe knew this was in the works. He fired his manager over it and took Jones. No way lipstick helps this pig any.
He can`t face a prime boxer because once he beats the said fighter they immediately become a bum/overhyped/a plodder/robot/one dimensional/beat nobody............etc etc etc we`ve heard it all before
you're a tool mr calzaghe.. even if you beat rjj he ain't in his prime and **** you for ducking top comp when you were young.. just retire undefeated yet forgettable god damn it
some brits are claiming pac aint **** coz he beats old mexicans... what do you ****in think about calzaghe? he is a boxer who plays safe and would only fight great fighters when theyre old... ****ers!
I'm a big fan of both, but even at this stage Jones hits harder than Hopkins. The Hopkins one was a lucky flash knockdown, Joe came in off balance, Hopkins timed him and put him on his ass. He was never hurt though. Jones however could seeminly have stopped Tito at any given moment in that fight, I think he just wanted a workout, but I'd not underestimate Roy's power. I think JC will win this fight, but Roy Jones is Roy Jones, he can still do things other boxers cant dream of and in his last couple of fights has shown more basic boxing fundementals imo. I think this one will be close. I love both these guys, so I dont know who I'll be rooting for :good
What did you see in your crystal ball before Calzaghe- Lacy,Calzaghe-Kessler and Calzaghe-Hopkins oh great wise one.:hey
Yeah what ever!! You crucify Joe for doing the exact same thing team Pavlik did to him! He would have given him recognition!! Bull ****! Im so glad there is always 2 sides to every story! I find it convenient that Kelly wasn't ready then but now all of a sudden he is! Hes only had had 2 significant wins his whole career and both were against the same opponent !
So, he's taking the ***** way out, protecting his "O" by taking on an easy fight against a washed up big name instead of actually trying to add to his legacy and fighting some that actually presents a challenge? Hearing him trying to build up Roy Jones the way he is to make himself seem like less of a **** makes me cringe.
The more and more I read all hate for Joe no one mentions the fact that Joe offered to fight Kelly on 2 seperate occasions ! Now since Joe turned him down he's the coward because he wants a big payday ! Where was that logic for team Pavlik when the offers were first presented to him ??I love the selective hate JOE gets but no one else gets this same type of treatement!
Uh yeah. He KOd the guy in the first match and then won an average of 8 rounds on the judges cards in the rematch. Not exactly easy, but those are clear cut wins over a guy that's way better than any fighter Calzaghe has ever faced.
