Oh I wouldn't mind that. His uncultured, feeble mind equates 'Irish' with 'Pikey' because he doesn't know any better.

Yes, that's the best comeback he's thought of in several weeks of me owning him. But that's his modus operandi. Trash posts, trash threads. Brings nothing to the forum.

When your best opponent is a 43 year old Hopkins on probably his worst night, (gassing after 6 rounds, without taking any type of punishment, or over exerting himself anymore than he usually does through 6) your resume isn't saying much. When your best win is that win over the 43 year old on his worst night, and fans are split about 50/50 as to really won the fight, it ain't saying much for Calzaghe's greatness. Nothing on Calzaghe's resume points to greatness. He was a good fighter. He met no other good or great fighter in or near their prime though. And in the few instances he was supposed to meet a quality opponent who was near his prime, he ducked more than once.

It depends on the judges for the fight, but all things being equal and fair, I would favor Ward by a comfortable decision. I say all things being equal, because judges are funny beings. How two could give Froch five rounds in the last fight, I have no idea.

He says that now that he is safely retired. He didn't run his mouth much when he was ducking Glen Johnson and dozens of other fighters.

True, but what does that have to do with the statement? It's the simple truth of the matter.

If Ward were to fight mainly mediocre mandatories for a year or 2, you could bet he'd be getting skewered on these boards. 1 or 2 mandatories isn't going to make or break him.

Agreed for the most part. I think Ward may be quicker of foot. Also with better defense.

That remains to be seen. Bute is a great start. If he moves up in the next 2 or 3 years and, even if he loses, takes on the best at LHW....... I will consider him quite successful and that would have the makings of an outstanding resume.

We both know it's more than that, kid. All I have to do is point out what ludacrious **** you post about and you have zero comeback. You haven't the wit or boxing knowledge to make any points worth discussing. All you post about is JMM's face swelling, or showing a few GIFs, posting a handful of pictures from a 12 round fight and calling it 'proof' of a win . Completely owned you in that thread, several times, as usual.

What else? Talking about Mayweather getting raped and contracting AIDS. Yeah, that's about your level alright, absolutely nothing to add beyond that kindergarden nonsense. You're a mental weakling, childlike.

You generally stop replying to me and skulk away, because you have nothing to say beyond a few predictable, simple minded insults. You are completely useless here and you know it. Posting nothing but menial rubbish which generally has little to do with actual boxing, the worst kind of boxing 'fan'. :-(

You can say what you like to try and save face, but you and I both know that you're my ***** and always will be. :good

    Really ?

    :nut

How can it be a no brainer when your boy does the chicken dance as soon as gets clocked solid ?

Ward bases his entire boxing on protecting his fragile chin.
He spends all his energy for the first 8 rds in and out constantly then stays out of harms way to hear the decision. The gall of his nuthuggers comparing him to Hopkins.
He's nothing like Hopkins, who was getting stronger in the later stages.

The first quality fighter who tags Ward solid will defeat him.

Joe would obviously hold his own, but I think Ward is a superior fighter, and I think hed come out on top head to head.

I think Joe would have beaten Ward... at least this version of Ward. In two years Ward might be operating on a different level where he'll be mentioned in the same breath as other ATG's. Ward is hella savvy as it is now but he still has a lot of improvements he can make.

calzaghe's workrate speed athleticism awkwardness and ability to adapt really are the best chance anybody has at beating ward right now except possible bute or dirrell
