Because I can hear it now from the "Calfaggys" that Bernard is still beating up on smaller men...

I've already smelled the "stink" of some of these fools already claiming that Bernard is MUCH thicker than Joe C.

Bernard UD or 10th round KO

(He's gonna make Calzaghe look alot like Michael Katsidis, you watch and see):yep

Joe Calzaghe walks around at 14 + stone...he has said this many times.

"This Light Heavyweight move will benefit him"

Oh I believe ya......Just telling you I've heard it ALL before.

Going into the Tito fight, he was fighting a top 3 p4p fighter, 7 years younger, undefeated, moving up in weight and now that win is being questioned:nut

You watch, in history BHOP will get LESS credit for beating Joe C. because of his weak European competition.

You're right to say that Calzaghe is not a blown-up super-middle - he's had problems making 168 for years and is a genuine light-heavy. Whether he's actually a better fighter at 175 remains to be seen...

I've never ever seen anyone claim this, can you point me in the right direction?

Otherwise I fear it may just be the voices in your head again. Remember, whatever you may hear, the baby Jesus does not want you to set fire to things.

Yeah and he's looked sharper in sparring now than I've ever seen him, I think he'll adjust to the weight as an improvement at this point than anything.

Just the people claiming that a Kessler win is better than BHOP fighting Tito, DLH, Tarver, Glen Johnson, Winky Wright (i can go on), Jermain Taylor, Roy Jones, etc.

You have such a 1 track view when ti comes to boxing. Tito is proven 1 dimensional, Calzaghe is proven a multi-dimensional masterful fighter, where as Tito was effective at 147-154, not as much at 160 where Hopkins beat him.

There is nobody who could discredit a Hopkins victory over Calzaghe, it would be the 2nd best fighter Hopkins fought in his career period.

It is better than all those I highlighted, but of course not better than Jones. A competitive loss to Jones in my eyes is as good as a decisive win over a Kessler level fighter.

That's a completely different claim than the one you mention in the OP.

I'd love to see an argument that losing to Jermain Taylor is superior to beating Kessler though :rofl

Proven by BHOP as 1-dimensional, that's my point.....
WHEN BHOP proves Calzaghe to be a "backyard" fighter, just give him his credit, that's all.

Bernard is going to have to do a "Casamayor" on him and tame the wild swinger.

And believe me, Calzaghe isn't considered more devastating than Tito was back in 2001, LOL, wanna argue that one buddy:good

    Uhhh....

Calzaghe at 168+ is more devastating than Tito at 160+, sorry to rain on your parade here. And Calzaghe is a better schooled fighter than Tito ever was, this is basic stuff here, when Tito is being schooled he has no plan B, Calzaghe can fight in multiple ways to gain a victory.

I don't care who considers what and who buys into what, Calzaghe's the 2nd best fighter Hopkins will have fought, win lose or draw.

Hmmm.. More 'weight will help him', just a different fighter. I've been advocating for a while now that guys weigh in much closer to fight time. Enough of this 'weight drained' crap. Sounds like it is robbing boxing fans big time. No?:? I think fighters, fans and boxing in general is better off to do what it can to eliminate guys taking off HEALTHY weight to get in the ring.
