I'm headed out, but watch the site and post the link when it comes up. He also talks about the difference between the competition at 160/168. He doesn't believe there is anyone at MW at the moment that beats Kelly, but does talk about it being tougher at 168. Guys having better power/chins. I thought that was the most interesting part of the article.

 

I thought we would hear something from Kelly the day after Joe C decided he wanted to stay undefeated & not fight KP. As usual, he's kept quiet (he lets his fists do the talking), but Jack is another animal. Forgot all about him sounding off. I'll go read the article now. I could use a good laugh.

I'm sure Calzaghe has sparred with Lockett and he knows could never do what Pavlik did to Lockett which explains why Joe has been so quiet about Pavlik.

 

Maybe thats taking it a bit far, thats he's a chicken.

Joe should have considered a fight with Pavlik instead of a shot Jones, that was a pathetic decision over Pavlik to be honest and as his last fight it becomes even more ridiculous. Joe and Warren just put words in Pavlik's mouth and claimed he's "not ready" then took on Jones, who they say is ready and fresh. atsch

 

I would consider him a chicken, no disrespect but the signs are clear. He had the chance to meet Hopkins and Jones in their primes yet waited when they are shot to pieces then signed to fight them and went to the States(the reason he declined a fight with prime Jones) for a 43 year old Hopkins in a very close tough fight. That says it all.

 

well seen as one is a very powerful boxer/puncher and the other is a very awkward boxer/swarmer who's hands break when he so much as thinks about throwing a power shot it's kinda understandable.

still, maybe it was expecting too much of you to realise this.

 

how many times do you people need to be reminded that he and warren pushed for the hopkins fight in 2002 and hopkins pulled a fast one at the last minute?

when did he have the chance to fight RJJ? dates please.
