You have fellow HOF fighters, Hopkins and RJJ on it, a diverse group of world class opponents, Eubank, Reid, Mitchell, Lacy, Bika and countless others. Also you have those that could still cement their legacy like Kessler.
Check the Brit forum, I am a very respectable poster. The only reason why I don't post in the general that much is due to the hate towards British fighters.
His earlier fights? What against weak chinned bums? Mate i love Calzaghe as much as the next brit, but your misinformed. Most of his Ko's came from before he even stepped in the ring with Eubank. The rest were TKO's due to sustained pressure, Bar Mario Veit and Byron Mitchell.
Moron ? I think you're being a little harsh on the thread-starter. It's a common and forgivable mistake to confuse 'BEST" with 'GREATEST.' Happens all the time. I imagine he simply used the wrong weighting factor for Joe's assumed resume when he plugged it into the PGE (Pugilism Greatness Equation), and thus came up with a higher GQ (Greatness quotient) for Joe than he should have. The maths of this can be tricky. He was on the right track, though. And maybe even ahead of some, in that he may have been looking at Joe's future resume as well.
Because some people really are that far up his arse, regardless of how good he was nobody should be rimmed to that extent.
