Joe Calzaghe was wonderful fighter, but I'm sorry, despite how good he was, Calzaghe was & never will be in the same class as guys like Ray Robinson & Henry Armstrong!

of course he's not in their class: he fought at super middle and they fought at welter

calzaghes probably up there with the greatest of all time... hes basically got all the skills u need.... and is a warrior, can take a good punch and is british...

the only style i see killing him is a prime jones jr... definitely.. jones would have picked him apart

    :deal

Apart from the last part of course.

Prime Calzaghe vs Prime RJJ is 70-30 in favour of Calzaghe.

I have been reading and debating fight fans on Boxing Forums for about 10 years now. And I even have a TOP 10 List of the Best and Worst Post ever entered in a Boxing Forum. I NOW HAVE A CLEAR #1 ALL-TIME WORST POST. KOSAROS needs to UPS or FEDEX some of what he has been smoking in the UK. Because it must be Pure 100% uncut Grade A stuff!!! PUFF PUFF PASS....DON'T HIDE IT, DIVIDE IT!!!

Does he have a granite chin? Yes
Does he have the heart of a lion? Yes
Does he have power in both hands? No
Does he have lightning fast speed in both his hands and movement? No
Does he have unmatched stamina resources? Yes

Plus, added to all of these attributes, he has an padded resume of a tomato cans and unworthy opponents , ranging from bums like Ashira, Salem, Manfredo, Mkrtchyan, Pudwill, Jimenez, Mcintrye, Starie, Thronbey, Gimenez, Sobot (all WBO title defenses) to the greatest prospects like Omar Sheika. Here is a breakdown of just some of the fighters Calzaghe defeated:

Chris Eubank: Shot faded, weight drained, Punch shy after Watson disaster, sick with flu took fight on 2 weeks notice whilst preparing for a fight at LHW.

Robin Reid: Decent win but not spectacular.

Mario Veit: "This unbeaten German tank" Glass jawed robot German hype job.

Byron Mitchell: Premature stoppage Byron was OK and would have KTFO later on.

Jeff Lacy: Overrated power and limited Boxing ability. Prime Reid would have beat him and the guy struggled with Sheika.

Mikkel Kessler: Good fighter but has not beaten any great fighters only decent contenders and weak paper champions.

Bernard Hopkins: Old and yet most people thought he won the fight.

Roy Jones Junior: The definition of shot to bits! Prime RJJ would have beaten Calzaghe with ease.

So there you have it, I have proven that Calzaghe is a fraud

You obviously missed the wind up Kosaros was one but still, thats a shocking statement i highlighted.

Change the yes you gave for granite chin and give it to the the speed and movement you gave a no. It's what got him to where he is.

Congrats on the wind up tho Kosaros. Legend. 25 pages.

Second best troll thread since Nallege's immortal "Manny Pacquiao isn't a P4P best because he's yet to beat every boxing style ethnically" classic.

This thread just proves that some fans of the sport still loves their fighter and let their personal feelings affect the somewhat deranged thoughts they come up with... blind love. I think it's normal and can understand it to a degree, but some boxers just have this vibe or charisma, like Joe Calzaghe apparently, and it makes their fans take the nuthuggin to the next level... yeah Calzaghe is great but come on snap out of it, and cut down on the love
