    :goodWell, contrary to popular opinion, there are another 10 players on the field as well. Pivotal run-out from the big man but the Ashes was very much a squad effort. That said, yes, it was a fantastic victory- something worthy of this smilie:

    Calzaghe is one of the better 'B' level fighters of this generation. He should be viewed alongside good/very good fighters like Casamayor, Hatton, Castillo, Tarver, Johnson etc. Not amongst the elite fighters like Hopkins, Pacquiao, Jones, Barrera, Morales and Mayweather....

    this is dumber than the original thread since he beat two guys he should not even be NAMED with??? he is not the GOAT obviously...he is a top 5 if not #1 168 lb fighter though

    Calzaghe woulda smoked a prime RJJ innit........Definitely best fighter of our generation but if Manny pacquaio actually beats floyd I think you can make a case for Pac being rated over Calzaghe.

    Calzaghe will always be the better fighter though.
