After reading that thread you seem to be a well respected poster on here so your opinion should be respected......although in that little list of 'competitors' you didn't even list a top 10 British fighter of all time....:think

Like I have said I can call him the greatest supermiddle weight all time a national legend and a awesome and exciting fighter he just did not do enough to be an ATG p4p he is an ATG suppermiddle and can be up there for a light heavyweight great he could have done a little more however I blame the Jones and Hopkins fights being so late on Hopkins and Jones. Joe tried to get those fights but he was so unknown and not a draw in the US and they did not wanna go over seas to fight like Dariuz M.

NOT EVEN CLOSE. You proven it to yourself and yourself alone about Calzaghe.

FAILED. Calzaghe will even be lucky to be in ATG, probably hall of famer and that is it.

the fact that calzaghe's supporters have to continually defend his "greatness" is evidence that his legacy is fragile.

no one has to defend sugar ray robinson. no one has to defend ali. no one has to defend sugar ray leonard. no one has to defend pacquiao.

    Calzaghe's legacy is shaky.
