I wouldn't be surprised if he takes on Froch in Wales for his last bout tbh....providing he gets past Pascal of course.

He needs to beat Froch... If Froch were to beat Kessler in the future Joes legacy will suffer big time.

Hmmm. Interesting way of looking at it, I can't see Froch beating Kessler in any case though. At this moment and time, beating Froch wouldn't offer much in regards to his legacy, but it's a win that could appreciate with time.

I think Calzaghe has achieved enough not to 'need' to beat Froch though, Jeff.

I may bump my old 'JC record' thread later to add to it in the context of this latest victory...

Sorry, I couldn't do it earlier as searching was disabled  I promise I will do it in the coming days to give a lowdown on what the Jones victory does for JC's resume.

i don't think joes last fight will be against froch unless he does a really impressive job on pascal in front of a large telly audience.

looking like hopkins so far. he had better not rematch jones.

btw do you think joe can make supermiddleweight now or would any future fight be at lhw or catchweight?

Has he said anything on the matter? He doesn't do rematches generally...he has said so himself recently.

I'm not sure tbh....I think he could make 168, but if he's now more comfortable at 175 then I imagine that given he is the top dog then he'll make fighters from 168 come to him. I doubt he has any interest in the WBC Title at SMW even if Froch does attain it.
