HBO said Calzaghe didn't spar much, and thus credited that to Calzaghe not being shot at age 37. It was either the Hopkins or Jones fight they said it in. I have no doubts that he didn't spar much. To be able to throw that many punches at 37 the man was a freak of nature. Of course Hopkins does well at 40, but that's because he doesn't take that many clean punches, and his style isn't an aggressive one. Mosley does pretty well, but that's mainly because a good chin, and power. Speed he's slowed some. For anybody 37 to throw hundreds of punches is just rediculous though. Wether there slaps, ***** slaps, punches, or hard punches. For those who say they were just little slaps...Those little slaps were enough to keep Hokins/ Jones at bay, to beat Kessler, and demolish Lacy. So I call em ***** slaps...He made each of them his prison *****.
