See, most will assume this was all 100% "Trolling BE", especially given how not in sync with the zeitgeist opinion, but I know you well enough to know this is actually (to some extent, if only an underlying kernel of the gist of the meat 'n' potatoes, and the drift that exists between them & the brass tacks) "Serious BE".

    ...at least I think. :blood

I do happen to recognize Erdei having a claim to being the legit man back then, in any event.

He was certainly lineal champ, that much is undisputed fact, but as to whether he would've beaten Hopkins or Calzaghe h2h, that's a subjective matter I guess. IMO he could've.

Lopez has a draw than many people think should be a lost. Calzaghe never came close to defeat.

Calzaghe had the better names at the end of the day. I think he also moved up more than Lopez too, if I recollect rightly.

Same number of divisions as López, two. 168 & 175. Calzaghe never fought at cruiser.

    Calzaghe leads 5-4-2.

In the Classic Forum version of this same thread, López 3-1.

I think he was trolling when he said Eredi would've beaten Lopez.

Lopez would take any version of Eredi into deep waters and drowned him in 5

Reid was soundly defeated. It was a little close, but there was no doubt.

true, easily a loss for joe.

Another one would be retiring Byron Mitchell getting stopped for dropping joe in round 1.

What? If the Reid fight is a loss for Calzaghe...Then Mayweather should have three loses ..JLC, Oscar, and Maidana.. Those fights were way closer than Calzaghe's Reid fight. Calzaghe was in complete control.
