Simple thread, simple answers, simple poll, do you feel that Joe Calzaghe is overrated?

No way. He is a legend. He style would be tough for anyone to handle, I don't care they are. After Pac and Floyd, he and Hopkins are clearly the next best fighters of the past decade.

yes but i think in the coming years he will get underrated. I mean he doesn't have an amazing resume but it definitely isn't ****. Atleast he doesn't get talked about much on this forum anymore.

Here, barring a couple of people who think he's the messiah, he's generally under-rated.

In the wider world, it's probably about right.

    NO

    Definition of "Legend"
One that inspires legends or achieves legendary fame

What "legend" has Calzaghe inspired and how has he achieved "legendary fame"?

No white boy fighter of recent times comes close to his ability. He is the greatest white fighter of the past 25 years. He will inspire future white boy fighters to take up the sport with the confidence they aren't inferior to black fighters. Ask Hopkins :deal

i can agree to that since Super Middleweight isn't a deep division

    Nigel Benn
    Chris Eubank
    Roy Jones
    Joe Calzaghe
    James Toney
    Steve Collins
    Thulani Malinga
    etc...

This video repudiates, mauls, and pwns this entirely disgraceful and ban-worthy troll thread. Someone ban this n00b alt troll for the sake of ESB and boxing in general. :ban:ban1

Considering that the super middleweight division wasn't formed until 1984, well, need I say more?

:nono You are playing with fire now minion. I have to go out now, but expect a vicious clinical one-sided forum beatdown in front of a global audience of millions upon my return. You are entering into the deep uncharted waters of the ESB Elite, and you will be mauled, chewed, and spat out by the Great White Sharks of the ESB Ocean. You have been warned. :deal
