Joe Calzaghe, overrated?

    Interesting statistics. But we've discussed this before.

    Just because SMW was a new division in the 80's and the belts were created around the same time, that doesn't mean they all held the same value.

    That's a funny way of looking at things.

    The WBA and the WBC were far more prestigious because of their history.

    Although Leonard and Hearns fought for the WBO title in their 1989 rematch, it wasn't required over ten years later, for a fighter to be declared an undisputed/unified champ.

    Also, The Ring magazine, along with other publications, didn't rate it for a long time.

    Joe was a great fighter. But his WBO reign wasn't really respected, just like how Dariusz Michalczewski's WBO reign also wasn't.

    He can't be overrated. He only took two rounds to dispose of the great Tocker Pudwill.
