Why do you think JC wasn't a big name 7-10yrs ago? Realistically I agree with you that the fight wouldn't have happened b/c JC would have been brutalized by Bhop and RJJ back then IMO. RJJ is a top boxer w/ a name, but if you think back to after the Glen Johnson or even the Tarver 2 fight... EVERYONE thought RJJ was DONE. Now he re-invented himself and all, which is great.. but he isn't nearly the same RJJ who was p4p #1 for so long. JC knows this and he wants to pick at the bones of a great fighter like a vulture. Joe 'the slap happy vulture' Calzaghe

You have to be joking. Fraud will be defense first just like he was the first go around.

DLH will get reckless and open himself up to some serious blows. PBF will knock the makeup off DLH. PBF KO9 DLH. If this fight isn't a decisive W for PBF, then we all know that #3 is in the works:roll:

*Ramshall1, you are quality in the lounge, but you are a little biased when it comes to PBF in the boxing forum... Why is that?

DLH is bigger and can take a decent punch, Fraud does not have the power to stop DLH unless he jumps in face first ala Hatton .. . even then Fraud would have to catch him more times flush than he caught Hatton . . . not likely at all.

Thanks for your kind words about the lounge, to answer your question . . . http://www.viddler.com/explore/BoxingHumor/videos/28/

RJJ may no longer be at his prime, but he's still good enough to fight any of the p4p boxers. RJJ can fight Pavlik, Taylor, or Dawson. BUT, who do you want RJJ to fight that would be considered fair?

Calzaghe would be the obvious choice since they're similar in age.

Only Joe Calzaghe has been calling out Roy Jones name.

So lets all try to answer this question as honestly as possible. Which fighter has aged more as a boxer in the last two years, Calzaghe or Hopkins?

So I see why you dislike him, but to disrepect or demean what he has accomplished in the ring is a bit crazy. Margo messed himself up by losing to PW. Had marg not lost, then I could REALLY see your point, but he did therefore margo needs to climb back up. AND believe me Margo made it back up the ranks with his destruction of Cintron. IF he beats Cotto, then their is NO reason why PBF wouldn't give him a shot at the throne. Margo would have 2/3 belts (if he picks up his old strap from Q or PW) and a chance to unify.

Interesting vid, mostly propoganda.. but entertaining.:good

I guess you do have a point, I think that Tarver could also be mentioned to take on Calz (since RJJ is his only real claim to fame, Calz 1st L could help him out IF that happens) However, my main issue with this is the fact that Calz is a self proclaimed 'legend killer'... Ok, you beat these legends names, but you give him tooo much credit for these fights. Bhop is a shadow of himself.. Sure he was p4p top 5, but that speaks more to the state of boxing than the fighter. Don't get me wrong, boxing has some exciting up and comers and prime fighters...But BHop at 43 to be #4 or 5 is crazy. Even crazier is the fact that people are trying to say that the bhop of 2008 that fought Calz is the same bhop of 2001 or prior:roll::nut

Problem is Fraud clearly ducked AM before his loss to PW.

Now he's actively ducking Cotto, just plain sad IMO.

I understand why you would say that. AM was like #2 or 3 WW when this was happening if my memory serves correct... 8 mill is a lot of cash etc, but the guy said no, so no it is. The vid was funny as **** when PBF was looking around for marg. Cotto never said 'give me pbf' like margo did or hatton. Hatton got KTFO, and marg lost to PW. As I said, the winner margo-cotto SHOULD get to fight pbf. PBF may be taking a page out of SRL book and making them wait.:think

The only one SRL arguably ducked was Pryor, he fought EVRYONE else.

Fraud has clearly ducked AM, Winky, Shane and now Cotto. Sad excuse for a fighter IMO.

Didn't SRL avoid fighting Hagler for some time? Even retired due to a detached retna?

AM ok, Winky? no money... Shane the offer WAS there... Cotto we'll see.
