    I had him beating joe who many considered a top 5 p4p and the number 1 smw.

    Maybe I rate joe higher than you do, I dunno.

    that is right, Calzaghe beat the American Lineal champ, who only had the ring title cause it was gifted to Roy Jones Jr for being young, black, american and althletic.

    doesn't change the fact that beating Hopkins at 175 was an EXCELLENT win, esp when you consider it was in America, with American judges. It is a miricle Joe won to be honest.

    So Calzaghe's biggest achievement is that he had slightly better stamina and workrate than a 43-year-old middleweight.:lol:

    Just like you ignore that he was the #1 at the division and regained the LHW title for over 4 years after Joe beat him.

    When did the lab shut down? 2000 after Hall?

    He didn't lose for another 4 years and even went up to heavy and back.

    I suppose it had NOTHING to do with the fact that he was in his mid 30's, had lost a lot of weight, and had fought 50 times?
