You called Corrie a RELIC FAILURE and failure you equate to being a bum. I know he won titles and beat Wlad but you call him a relic failure. Most people will call Lacy an ex champ yet you call him a glorified journeyman, Mario Veit held non regarded titles too like Corries South African title but you call Veit a bum or liken him to it. Ruiz was lesser than every fighter I named but somehow was a champ in that era... Fact of the matter is Ruiz was not near as bad as he gets made out to be, and actually has some decent wins at HW... I have a hard time calling any world champion a bum, that should be reserved for some of the complete no hopers both Calzaghe and Jones fought their share of.

Yes he was a weaker fighter it isn't even a debate. Wlad and Vitali weren't allowed to fight him unless Don King got a hand in their fights and money, he got destroyed by Tua , and I would give him a chance vs Corrie who was actually a part time boxer and golfed mostly. Ruiz is a bum and his career was carefully crafted by Don.
