If this were to happen, what other HOFers would Froch have fought previously?

You know it'd be hilarious if he did that (unconvincingly) with his usual snob attitude if it's a sure fire way to get Froch behind the bars or a penalty of some sort.

That may well be the case.

Though it is safe to state that the UK has recently (last 15 years or so) adopted many of the American legal system policies.

Carl would certainly get lifted. But im sure Froch would happily spend a few hours in a police cell for the lifetime of secondhand trolling he could inflict on Calzaghe.

In the US, those actions would be classified as a "battery", which requires actual physical contact. In the US, an assault does not require a "touching".

Calzaghe isn't man enough to go anywhere near Froch. He will cower in the corner like a coward. He can't use his wait until a fighter turns 40 tactic on Froch.

Hey, to be fair, Calzaghe did fight a prime Kessler. I mean yes, his signature wins are over legends that were long past their best years (RJJ, Eubank) but he did fight one guy in his prime.

Froch was crying when Calzaghe refused to fight him back then. Now Froch is tired and doesnt want to fight younger guys himself. A bit of a hypocrite there.

yes, but Froch has been doing nothing but fighting young prime fighters ever since the super 6. Eventually you get tired of always fighting top notch opposition and want an easy fight. Majority of Joe's career, by contrast, is easy fights.

Read this thread title, then read the ridiculous thread title that is currently on top the forum right now; "Has there been a manlier fighter than Froch?"

Well, you have your answer. There have been many.
