    1. That round was scored 10-8 for Hopkins, nothing controversial there.

    2. He landed way more than Hopkins in just about every round. It may be your highly subjective and biased opinion that Calzaghe's punches were scoring punches, but the fact is that they were scoring. Hopkins was clearly outworked.

    3. It is Hopkins who has a reputation of being dirty, not Calzaghe. Even the US commentators were indicating that Hopkins was faking. It's not even worth discussing.

    Clear cut Calzaghe victory.

Calzaghe had the style to beat anyone. He should of moved to heavyweight, it would of been him instead of Jones who beat Ruiz.

That could of set up the biggest fight in the history of boxing... Calzaghe vs Lewis!!!

You weren't impressed by his off-the-floor 2nd round win against Mitchell? Mitchell had never been stopped, iirc. That was a very good win.

Regarding his power, he throws light shots on purpose and will randomly mix hard ones in with them which keeps the other guy guessing. It doesn't look pretty but it was obviously effective.

There were many attributes about Calzaghe that impressed me. His stamina, workrate, handspeed, boxing ability, midfight adaptability, footwork, heart and chin come to mind. A true ATG.

Sorry, but a lot of people on this forum are not gonna give Calzaghe any kind of credit. It is unfortunate

Nope. You don't absorb all of a fighter's accomplishments by eeking out a split decision against him. :nono

he also was knocked out in the ammys vs beterbiev and lost a decesion to him as well.
