lol at some the responses in thread. Wilder may not be any great shakes but he would still decapitate Calzaghe, most probably in the first round too.

A shot to pieces, cherry picked Roy Jones, after getting dropped in the first round.

Joe takes Lennox and Wladimir pretty easily as well.

Shot Roy and still managed to get dropped and make it a close decision even tho he was supposed to win by shutout.

Let's not pretend Joe was the athlete Roy was. Joe had glass hands and showed a shaky chin when he stepped up his competition.

Shaky chin? Joe's chin is pure steel.

Only if Calzaghe takes a dive like Scott.
Unfortunately for Wilder, Calzaghe is a true warrior and wouldn't let his country men down.

Wilder's eyes swell to easy, that's bad news when facing a fighter with Calzaghe speed and workrate.

Now I don't put any value on that 'win' over that version of RJJ but he got absolutely dominated in that fight.

The knockdown aside, it was one way traffic and many felt should have been stopped. Roy was cut badly and there was no need to see him get humiliated like that by a showboating Calzaghe.

I'm down with this. Wilder is THAT fundamentally unsound. Calzaghe could actually UD him.

This is stupid. Anyone who honestly beleives a prime RJJ isnt better than a prime Joe is not being intellectually honest.

And Wilder would destroy Joe in a round probably. Also stupid.

Overstating idiotic things to prove a point proves no point.

You need to put down the Crack pipe. Calzaghe is certainly a better fighter in a P4P sense but Wilder is a 6'7" heavyweight with a decent jab and one punch KO power in either hand. Calzaghe runs for dear life or gets KO'ed. He has no chance in this fight....
