Except you are neglecting the fact that Calzaghe fought a prime Hopkins who based his whole fight around his experience and tactics which at his age had peaked, Calzaghe showed a new dimension by fighting like Hopkins but even greater than him. Hopkins had never been so motivated or as prime as he was on that fight and Joe toyed with him after the first 3 rounds, so much so even the corrupt judges couldn't score it for the hometown boy.

 

Green fight, he avenged his loss to Roid Jones who was beaten by shot Joe anyway, he avenged his loss to Taylor by crippling prime Pavlik and Dawson got a home town cooking, but he avenged that by beating Pascal anyway.

He beat what 15 world champions? and everyone else ducked him.

Does anybody rank Frazier higher than Ali? No.

Purrity beat Wlad. Wlad beat Haye, Povetkin, Byrd etc. Does Purrity inherit Wlads wins? **** no.

Nobody ranks Purrity higher than Wlad.

And Calzaghes 'win' was even less convincing than those above.

 

Except again, you're ignoring the factors such as Joes condition, Hopkins prime, motivation and gravity of the fight. Calzaghe beat the best possible Hopkins in his worse possible condition, if it were the young KO artist Calzaghe before the busted hands then he would be stopping Hopkins like he would have anyway but for the corrupt ref.

 

I dont care about Calzaghes condition and neither does anyone else.

Nobody will remember Calzaghe, everyone will remember Bhop.

Roy Jones and Floyd Mayweather and Bernard Hopkins are greater than those two.

And Pacqiauos legacy is leagues above Calzaghe.
