    Really

    Toney
    Hopkins
    Hill
    Johnson

I didn't know they were plumbers can drivers and police men

What about Joe's opponents I'm certain the majority of them were street cleaners

Johnson. :patsch He did OK at 160 and 175 but was little more than a journeyman level in the division Joe ruled for years. Hence Hopkins had the common sense to avoid it.

You can start by stop talking nonsense to suit your agenda and making up lies such as:

    - Lacy was never that good and we never rated him. :nono
    - Hopkins was robbed against him :patsch
    - Jones would've beat him a few years earlier.
    - Ward would beat him. :rofl

The kind of lies I'm already seeing your lot spout in this thread and we're only on the second page.

Domestic level fighter. Get real Calzaghe would butcher him. Same with Hill and Toney.

And Calzaghe beat the prime Hopkins- not the green version Jones fought, even though Calzaghe himself was shot and jumped up a weight class to do it.

Both Jones and Hopkins in their prime would beat Calzaghe. If he had stuck around he would've lost to Froch and Ward.

Get lawst, prime Hopkins. Anyone in their 40s is not a prime fighter.

I don't think any American fighter in history could beat him 168-175. Joe was just on another level.

Jones would have had the best chance prime for prime. But then you start talking about how Jones tested positive for steroids and how he avoided big fights around the early 2000s.

Joshua and Lewis shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence.

Calzaghe wouldn't have had the stones to step in the ring with that Johnson hell he avoided Glen. Johnson on 3 separate occasions yet he would have fought Reggie yeah sure he would ..

And that domestic level fighters outclassed Steve Collins which is better than most of Joe's Wins !

And. Jones beat a closer to his prime Hopkins than Joe did ..After Bhops lost to Roy he didn't lose another fight until his bout with Jermain Taylor which was a decade later ..Keep grasping a straws Joe will always come up short!

Joe wanted nothing to do with the Road Warrior even after he congratulated him on his win over a shot Jones !

    3 times he pulled out 3 ! If that's not a duck I don't know what is !

    Dear Joe,

Congratulations on your win over Roy Jones last Saturday night. I'm happy to see that you're finally getting some overdue credit, and now that you've accomplished what you wanted to against Jones and Bernard Hopkins, I think it's time for you and I to settle some unfinished business.

I'm sure you remember, but if you don't, you previously agreed to fight me three times in the past, yet all three times you pulled out of the fight due to injury and we never had the opportunity to give the fans the fight they were all waiting to see.

Well, now is the time to make up for all of that, to finally agree to fight me. You've done a lot in your career, but for you to truly cement your legacy, you know we must fight.

I'm well aware that the name Chad Dawson has been tossed around, but I already beat him in the ring and the only people who didn't know it were the judges who rendered the most controversial decision of 2008. In fact, 80 percent of the viewers watching the fight on Showtime felt that I won. But the fans know, Dawson knows, and you know who won that fight.

So fighting Dawson serves no purpose other than giving him a big payday. To truly prove yourself as the best fighter in the world, pound for pound, fight me, the man who knocked out a prime Roy Jones and beat Antonio Tarver, two accomplishments you can't claim.

We both know that there is a lot more money for you to make if you fight me.

You know who I am Joe, and my resume speaks for itself. Let's do this, not only for our legacies, but for the fans.

I have been to England three times. I won (a) world title there. Your fans know me, all of England knows me. Nobody knows who Chad Dawson is!

Any time you want, I would love to fight you in Wales. I will be there as soon as you invite me.

    Respectfully,

    "The Road Warrior" Glen Johnson

No way in hell did Calzaghe beat Hopkins & he knows it. Calzaghe "retired" to a life of drugs , booze, skanky ho's & hunting & killing little rabbits, purely to escape having to rematch Bernard in Wales. Heck Hopkins & a totally shot Jones jr even put him on his cowardly ass. There have been many great Welsh fighters over the years Josephine Calzaghe is NOT one of them

Calzaghe a superstar for beating Lacy???? ROFLMAO Slappy tried to back out of the fight claiming "injury" but Enzo kicked his cowardly ass & MADE him fight. Lacy was 100% hype Enzo knew it but Joe was scared of Lacy

Glen The Road Warrior Johnson would have kicked Calzaghe's ass all up and down the Rhonnda Valley. Same way Bernard Hopkins would The Cowardly slapper knows this better than anyone.
Calzaghe isn't among the 200 best Welsh fighters in history but he sure is the original Welsh Slapper
